These are some of the projects that the students will do during the camp.
Storing and retrieving data is an absolutely essential part of software development. How are data structured in such a way that it makes sense and makes it easy to work with them? How are they stored and read?
What is a database? These and other questions will be answered by the camp.
Also the students will learn the data specific language - Structured Query Language (SQL). And at last they will study how to use SQL with C# to manipulate the data.
During the camp students will learn the following skills:
- Data Modeling Overview
- Entities and Attributes
- Fields, Records, Tables and Joins
- Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Data Querying with SQL
- SQL Server Databases
- Database Connections in C#
- Reading and Writing to a Database in C#
All coding will be done with C# without any third party library.
Some previous experience with C# is necessary.
