These are some of the projects that the students will do during the camp.
Sasha says that he likes the class a lot. He only had one offline class with you since he joined late, so he cannot really compare with the online format. He had tried to learn programming from online sources (like YouTube), so now he is happy that he has you to ask questions and to "really explain things" (like he says 😊). He says that before he just copied code without fully understanding it and now he feels much more confident and he likes to be able to write it from scratch.

Margaret helped me start off my programming journey, and now programmming langauges feel like my second language. I highly recommend enrolling in one of Margaret's programming courses; it's a great way to expand one's ability to think and to prepare for a 21st-century career.

It is very fun and one of the most popular camps. The material has been developed and used during Seattle Country Day School programming club sessions.
The camp gives students an opportunity to deeper understand and apply mathematical concepts such as coordinate system, variables, matrices, Pythagorean theorem,
determining if a point belongs to a circle and others.
Students will be making Blasterball, Cannon and Matching Memory Games. After they learn the new concepts of the class, students will have a lot of freedom in the implementation of the games
While making video games students will learn the following skills:
- Animating
- Working with keyboard and mouse
- Applying velocity and acceleration
- Hit Testing
- Collision Detection
- Working With Multidimensional Arrays
- Trajectories
All coding will be done with JavaScript, HTML and CSS only without any third party library. We consider this very important as it promotes deeper understanding of the techniques involved.
Some previous experience with JavaScript is necessary.
